What Tinnitus Sounds is
TinnitusSounds.com ("Tinnitus Sounds", "we") offers browser-based tools for exploring the pitch of tinnitus and for playing tones and background sounds. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Not medical advice or a medical device
Tinnitus Sounds is for general wellness and informational use only. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent tinnitus or any other disease or condition. Nothing on the site is medical advice. Talk to a doctor or audiologist about your hearing and your tinnitus, and seek care promptly if your tinnitus is sudden, in one ear, pulses with your heartbeat, or comes with hearing loss, dizziness or pain.
Listen safely
You are responsible for setting a safe volume. Start low, keep sounds no louder than needed, and stop immediately if any sound is uncomfortable or makes your tinnitus louder. Do not use the sounds while driving or in any situation where you need to hear your surroundings.
The full version is a subscription
- The full version costs $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year (US dollars, plus any applicable tax), whichever you choose at checkout.
- Free trial: new subscribers get the full version free for 7 days. You enter a payment card when you start the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged the price you chose on the day the trial ends, and your subscription continues from there. We email you a reminder before the trial ends. One free trial per person.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the same price at the end of each month or year, and your card is charged until you cancel. We will email you before any price change, and the new price applies only from your next renewal after that notice.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number.
- Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the full version for your own use on your own devices. Please don't share your unlock with others.
- The unlock is saved in your browser. If you clear your browser data or use a new device, you can restore it on the Restore page.
- We may add, change or retire individual tools and sounds over time. We will keep the core features (the sweep, matcher, CR tones and background sounds) available while your subscription is active.
Cancel anytime
Cancel online at any time using Manage subscription at the bottom of any page: sign in with your email and click Cancel. You can also email support@tinnitussounds.com and we'll cancel it for you. After you cancel you won't be charged again, and you keep the full version until the end of the period you already paid for. If you cancel during your free trial, you are not charged at all and the full version stays on until the trial ends.
Refunds
If the full version isn't right for you, email support@tinnitussounds.com within 30 days of your first payment, using the email address you subscribed with. We will cancel your subscription and refund that first payment in full to your original payment method. Refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days. Later renewal payments are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time to stop future charges.
No warranty and limits on liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise that it will reduce your tinnitus or that it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
